We are ocean-lovers and outdoors enthusiasts. Therefore, we see it as our responsibility to be stewards of our local environment and the planet at large.
We believe that little waves make big waves. Our company is built on an ethos of community, sustainability, and equality that is woven into all of our EcoStiks. We hope that these choices ripple out to create the world we want to live in.
Starting at the Source
Within our own manufacturing and distribution, we aim to be as climate-friendly as possible. We reduce the use of raw materials, always upcycling when possible.
EcoStiks are made of Repreve®, a fabric upcycled from recycled water bottles, NOT toxic or single use plastics.
We use environmentally friendly inks and a sublimation process that is less harmful to the environment than other types of heat transfers.
We work with researchers and scientists to innovate on more environmentally friendly adhesive options.
We print and manufacture in small batches, giving us the ability to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
We use recycled alternatives for items in our manufacturing or shipping process, including using recycles shipping envelopes, boxes and packing paper.
We only partner with factories who meet our sustainability criteria, prioritizing local facilities when possible.
Elevating Voices
We collaborate with and partner with organizations in our community who are working to make positive environmental changes. Local NGOs, grassroots organizations, and indivduals with an environmental message need their voices elevated. EcoStiks provides promotional materials and support to these groups.
Community
We actively support grassroots and environmental non-profits through donations, discounts, events and collaborations.
We are a proud sponsor of Women in the Water, a Santa Barbara-based women's ocean community organization.
We host an ambassador program and partner with other like-minded companies and individuals in order to create a larger network of environmental knowledge sharing.
